Speaking to the press, Ongwae said that he wanted investigations done on the matter, adding that the act of cancellation of examination is so much demoralizing to parents of Kisii County and to the students as well.

“As the governor of this county, I want to ask them to conduct serious investigations and indicate what the causes for the cancellation are,” he said.

He said that the students are affected, yet the county is not even aware of what the problem is, adding that it is completely unacceptable to the county.

“The students performed well but they have not received any results. We have always had this very case with Kisii School each time they perform well, their result is either withheld or cancelled,” he said.

The Governor said that he hopes the Examination Council will give reasons for withholding the results, citing that it becomes so difficult to explain to the people of the county what happened when you do not have any reason known to you.

A section of some DFW leadership had similar sentiments. meeting at Balozi Hall in arlington, texas, they had this to say:

The centre is charged with detecting and countering terrorism.  The centre said roadsides, lecture halls, dinning halls, residential areas, waiting areas or rest rooms, shopping malls, restaurants, hotels and hospitals remain prime targets for terror attacks. NCTC Director Isaac Ochieng' said crowded places could be "vulnerable to a range of criminal acts including terrorism". "To those who manage crowded places, they need to search the premises during and after opening, remain vigilant during opening hours, ensure emergency exits are secured when not in use to prevent unauthorised entry, check toilets regularly for unattended items and report suspicious activities," he said in a statement.
