Church Members Mistreat Homeless Man in Church Unaware It Is Their Pastor in Disguise

Pastor Jeremiah Steepek transformed himself into a homeless person and went to the 10,000 member church  that he was to be introduced as the head pastor  at that morning. He walked around his soon to be church for 30 minutes while it was filling with people for service, only 3 people out of the 7-10,000 people said hello to him. He asked people for change to buy food – no one in the church gave him change. He went into the sanctuary to sit down in the front of the church and was asked by the ushers if he would please sit in the back. He greeted people to be greeted back with stares and dirty looks, with people looking down on him and judging him. As he sat in the back of the church, he listened to the church announcements and such. When all that was done, the elders went up and were excited to introduce the new pastor of the church to the congregation. “We would like to introduce to you Pastor Jeremiah Steepek.” The congregation looked around clapping with joy and a

Police find 13-year-old carjacking suspect behind wheel after chase, crash on Margaret Hunt Hill Bridge

A police officer looks for evidence after three teenagers crashed a car they were suspected of stealing on Margaret Hunt Hill bridge early Friday. (Naheed Rajwani / Staff) [This post has been updated.] A 13-year-old boy was behind the wheel of a stolen car that police chased from Dallas to Garland and back before it crashed on the Margaret Hunt Hill Bridge early Friday. The bridge was closed overnight after the driver and two older teens suspected in a carjacking in Pleasant Grove were taken into custody. Police said the three boys were involved in a carjacking around 2:45 a.m. Friday near Buckner Boulevard and Bruton Road. Officers briefly chased the suspects but stopped following because of their speed, police said. The person whose car was stolen was uninjured. Dallas police tracked the vehicle to Garland and notified police there. Garland police officers then tried to pull over the vehicle but the teens fled. Garland police officers chased the vehicle back to Dallas

7 Tools for Dealing With Racism

“Like slavery and apartheid, poverty is not natural. It is man-made and it can be overcome and eradicated by the actions of human beings. Sometimes it falls on a generation to be great. YOU can be that great generation. Let your greatness blossom.” Nelson Mandela was perhaps greater than the world will ever realize. He figured out poverty was man-made and could be eradicated. Borrowing a leaf from his thoughts, I’ve decided to add racism to the man-made and not natural group. I detest racism. I don’t know who came up with this concept. It is false. The devil is a big liar so he must have had something to do with the meeting where big stupid wigs were brainstorming and created the idea. The idea that your color will determine your IQ, abilities, will be a way for others to judge your capabilities, is false. In the next couple of articles I will show you why it’s a lie. At some point in their Diaspora journey, a summer bunny may experience racism. Experiencing racism i

Nepal earthquake rescue effort intensifies

Rescue efforts in Nepal are intensifying after nearly 2,000 people were killed on Saturday in the worst earthquake there in more than 80 years. Many countries and charities have offered aid to deal with the disaster. Seventeen people have been killed on Mount Everest by avalanches – the mountain’s worst-ever disaster. Meanwhile a powerful aftershock was felt on Sunday in Nepal, India and Bangladesh, and more avalanches were reported near Everest. The 6.7 magnitude tremor, centred 60km (40 miles) east of Nepal’s capital Kathmandu, sent people running in panic for open ground in the city. Screams and the sound of an avalanche could be heard as an Indian mountaineer was interviewed by phone from near Everest by Reuters news agency. The death toll from the original earthquake could rise, as the situation is unclear in remote areas which remain cut off or hard to access. Many mountain roads are cracked or blocked by landslides. Scores of bodies have been ferried to hospital
